cow anatomy
As part of Mission 50L , a special Cow Anatomy and Health Management Workshop was successfully organized in Sangamner by the Maharashtra Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (MPDFA) in association with the Progressive Dairy Farmers Association, Punjab (PDFA) . The session was designed to help dairy farmers gain a deeper understanding of cow anatomy, the digestive system, balanced feeding, health care, and the scientific practices required for improved milk yield.
The programme highlighted how better knowledge of an animal’s body structure, nutrition, and overall health can directly support productivity and make dairy farming more efficient and profitable. The event was graced by the presence of Hon. Shri Balasahebji Thorat, while Shri Ranjit Deshmukh, Chairman of Sangamner Taluka Cooperative Milk Producers and Processing Union Ltd. and President of MPDFA, along with Dr. Mukesh Sharma, provided valuable guidance to the participating farmers.
